I was diagnosed with Hypertension in Febuary of 2006. Were some of my symptoms caused by Hypertension confusion, impotence, anxiety, always tired, or sometimes not being able to sleep all night. Not being able to get the words out in a conversation, feeling pressure inside me at times. There were times I would just cry because I did not know what was going on inside of me, or not knowing the reasons why I would act out towards my loved ones.

Complications of hypertension are many and some of those complications may cause such symptoms as those you describe. It does not seem likely that hypertension was causing all these symptoms. Generalized anxiety disorder is also one possibility that would explain some or all of your symptoms. Of course, there are any number of possible causes for these symptoms, so you’ll have to talk to your doctor about your concerns. Good luck!
