Can overuse or abuse of percocet cause abscesses?

While the drug itself will not directly cause abscesses, overuse of Percocet or any other drug containing acetaminophen can cause liver damage, which in turn can result in various problems including lowered immune system response, and that may put you at risk for infections, including abscesses.
