I know I should see a doctor. Just wanted to see if you had an idea of what the popping sound is. Example, bone spur, dislocated something.

Always get checked if a problem persists as Dr. Joshua recommended! I also had the bloody stool and other symptoms without being checked...until I had a kidney failure! SO always be sure you get to the doctor or hospital when something's wrong for a few consistent days.

My fiance is 25 yrs. old and is recently coming off drugs; mainly prescription pills. He is 13 days sober and has had trouble sleeping at night. We will lay down to bed at 10 or 11 p.m. and he won't be able to fall asleep until 4 or 5 a.m., then try to go to work at 8 a.m. His father offered his sleeping pills to try to help, but my concern is taking more pills when he's trying to get off them. He use to take Zanex mixed w/ alcohol in order to get high. So my question to you is, does Amitriptyline have any side effects that he could use to get high off of? Or is it safe for him to take while not having an erge to drink on them and get high? Would you suggest anything different?

I am new to this site, was searching to find some ideas on how to deal with a kidney stone that seems to show up on ultrasound only but not x-ray. I saw this site and I am happy to see there is someone out there that is taking the time to help those with questions and seems to care about what they do. I was reading your recent blog and wanted to say keep it up and a BIG thank you... :)
